Treatment for Wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration (Wet ARMD)
Maldon Eye Clinic offers intravitreal injection treatment for wet ARMD and other retinal conditions requiring anti-VEGF therapy.
Wet ARMD occurs when abnormal blood vessels grow beneath the retina, causing leakage and damage to central vision. Early treatment can help stabilise and often improve vision.
Intravitreal Injections
Treatment involves injecting medication directly into the eye using a very fine needle under local anaesthetic drops.
